I am trying to figure out how to stop my lcd from going to a blank screen. I fiddled with the bios, and added apm as a module. Fairly new to the linux environment, any ideas out there? I run a Thinkpad T22 with 2.6.3 kernel and fluxbox as a window manager.

If you are talking about the screen blanking that is happening on the console, then put the following line into your /etc/conf.d/local.start
Code:
setterm -blank 0

For X the following line in your .xinitrc or .xsessionrc should help aswell
Code:
xset s off

Same here - any solution for this now?

The settings under xscreensaver-demo don't work...
