I wanted to know how to add hebrew support to KDE ?

I want have the capability to write in hebrew on any app. like in the screenshot page, in Dan Armak's desktop. For example: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo/images/shots/desktop-danarmak.png

Thanks,
Rotem.

I realise I'm a bit late, but anyway.

Actually you don't have to emerge i18n-he. All it adds is Hebrew menus and dialogs to the desktop and some of the apps. I myself prefer English UI so I never bother to install i18n-he, and I can type Hebrew just fine, תודה רבה thank you very much, спасибо :)

To type Hebrew, you need to add Hebrew keyboard layout to KDE: go to Control Center/Regional & Accessibility/Keyboard Layout, checkmark "Israeli". You will also need some Hebrew fonts. If you have a Windows partition, they're right there.

I'm trying to add hebrew fonts, so I can see hebrew on the web. I emerged culmus, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Code:
 emerge culmus
fc-cache /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/culmus

What am I supposed to do? :?

Toda raba.

I am running my new kde 3.2 wm and under
"Region and Accessibility/Country&Language"
the only language that shows up is English.

Under my old system, kde 3.1, many languages, including Hebrew
were available.

Any ideas?
