Hello, ok thought i would do my first howto :)

It is a real pain when an overnight update halts on a game because you have to manually agree to licence, however there is way to automatically agree to the licence and so not interupt the update.

You will need to edit /etc/make.conf and add following line:

Code:

ACCEPT_LICENSE="LICENCE"

So for Quake4 and Enemy Territory (Return to Castle Wolfstein) you would add:

Code:

ACCEPT_LICENSE="QUAKE4"
ACCEPT_LICENSE="RTCW-ETEULA"

If you are not sure of which licence to use, then grep is your friend.

Example for enemy-territory do

Code:

$ grep LICENSE /usr/portage/games-fps/enemy-territory/enemy-territory-2.60b.ebuild
LICENSE="RTCW-ETEULA"

Hope this helps.

I have to thank the following for pointing me in right direction on this issue.

Man, what a great tip. I didn't realize this was doable. Btw, for quake3-bin:
Code:
ACCEPT_LICENSE="Q3AEULA"
