Hi,
After some days of good working with nfs, my server (or client?) made some troubles.
I can mount my server box's exports (e.g. /var/www), with konqueror or terminal I could list the entries, but if I would write / copy some data to it....it freeze. the serverbox is alive, can connect with ssh, ftp and so on...but my client can't reboot, can't kill the process and so on...
What can I do? is the problem server-sides, oder on my client? I have no idea and forum search found no results reflacted to this problem...

Thanks,
Chris

PS mounted with
mount alpha:/var/www /mnt/nfs
(with options like rsize doesn't help)

How about lockd - is that running?

Are there any error messages in the logs on client/server?

What does "rpcinfo -p" return on client/server?
