I have kind of a picky problem with my gentoo system... I have ice-scsi emulation going, and I can burn cd's just fine. But when I dmesg | grep scsi, I still get the following error message:

kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2

It's the last error message in dmesg that I haven't been able to get rid of, and I just want things to be clean. (Okay, fine, I'm anal...) Like I said, my burner is working fine, so the function isn't the problem, just the goofy error message. Thanks in advance for any help!

Here's the full dmesg | grep scsi:

Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=Gentoo root=1643 root=/dev/hdd3 init=/linuxrc pci=noacpi acpi=off hda=ide-scsi
ide_setup: hda=ide-scsi
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2
kmod: failed to exec /sbin/modprobe -s -k scsi_hostadapter, errno = 2
scsi: <fdomain> Detection failed (no card)

I get that same message on my system at work with a SCSI disk. Never had any problems though. If you're not experiencing an issue, I would just ignore it.
