Bittorrent has hash checking... so no it wouldn't be. Back that with a http based crypto sum of md5 whatever and you get distributed source and low infrastructure costs. I see no reason not to implement this as some form of de facto standard like a sourceforge p2p distributing source. But using gnutella is stupid so is spelling mistakes (reference to thread starter). |
