Hi,
today I tried to compile ddd (3.3.1-r2) (with gcc 3.1)!
Okay there are enough threads in this forum about problems when emerging ddd with gcc3.1, but that wasn't the problem with ddd! The emerge succeeded....
But when I start ddd I get a segfault at once, what could be wrong with it? Anyone with similar problems?
Here is what ddd wrote to it's error log:
Code: |

Did you have any luck getting it working? |

Hi,
no I had no luck getting it working! No one could help with this problem!
And my notebook I installed the 1.4rc of gentoo and with this version there was no problem with ddd, it works! Don't know, I think the gcc3.2 has solved the problem, but I'm quite not sure about this...
Today I'm going to install 1.4rc on this pc and I hope ddd will work as it did on my notebook! |

I got it working. I re-emerged
sys-devel/gdb-5.2.1
x11-libs/openmotif-2.2.2-r1
dev-util/ddd-3.3.1-r2
After setting my CFLAGS="" & CXXFLAGS=""
