YAMAHA CRW-70 Problems

I am using Kernel 2.6.3 and have an USB drive for CD-R(W) burning. It is plugged in and correctly recognized and whatnot -- but /dev/sg0, the plug as for the drive, is apparently not a block device (according to mount.)

It's in my FStab.

It is seen by CDRecord (But I want to use k3b, it's a tad easier).

What should I do?
