When I try to mount my boot partition, e.g. mount /dev/hde1 /boot, I get this error:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hde1, or too many mounted file systems.
I can boot of the gentoo cd and mount it fine. Its an ext3 part. ext3 is in kern and works fine with other file systems. Obviously, in order to boot it is seeing the contents of /boot. What gives? Anyone know? _________________ --------> Why don't you bastards start wearing human skins?<-------- |

Does 'mount -t ext3 /dev/hde1 /boot' work? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

If you add the line to your fstab, with the noauto option, you can mount (after reboot) with:
