Hi folks,

does anybody know, what happened to Noatun in kde 3.2? Since I have the new KDE version, Noatun is not usable anymore. The playlist is gone and all the kjofol skins just show the transparent image mask in reverse (i.e. the skin is now transparent and the normally transparent part is pink). Since you do not have playlists anymore, you may try to play the files oin a directory, but that's not working either. It plays the first file and then selects something totally different from another dir ...

I was really happy with Noatun in KDE 3.1, but now is is unusable anymore. Does anybody know, what's the reason for this glitch?

Regards,
Jörg

Sorry, but I cannot help you...
I was looking 4 some help for the same reason and asked to people in the Italian #gentoo channel on Azzurranet to try if noatun had the same problem with k-jofol plugin.

They all had that problem...
But it seems nobody uses noatun + kjofol... it's a shame, because I think it is a great plugin :°(

Now I'll take a look on bugzilla... But I don't know how to use it (I'm quite noob)... And search in some noatun mailing list/forum (if ay) to see if it is a known bug...
let's hope it'll be fixed sooner or later

It is a known bug, apparently QT 3.3 is the problem. See:

Just as an update. I've unmerged 3.1.5 yesterday and emerged the new 3.2.1 and I have Noatune with the K-Jöfol skins back. Still missing the possibility to play a m3u playlist.

Hey! I had the same problem with m3u, or .pls from shoutcast. What I did was to choose in the noatun config to deny more than once instance, then choose in File Handlers that noatun should be used to open .pls files. Now, when I click "Tune In" on shoutcast.com, the playlist entries are added to my noatun playlist automatically, on the bottom. So it's not drag and drop, like in KDE 3.1.x, but it works. :)
