if you got your device today, i suppose
its the yp3700.
you see, i have a yp3000 ( the older one )
but am running the 3700 FS.

now i am interested in how to cross - compile
some apps for my yopy, because,
you'll find out soon, some apps
preinstalled on it, simply suck.

just take a look at the mail prog
( sylpheed port ) and try to get your
mails via ( usb ) network and you'll
soon figure out what made me
want to crosscompile some apps ...

I have the usbnet module in my kernel. However, I do not have any usb0 device :? Did I something wrong?

on yopydevelopper.org (don't remember the exact name) just download the usbnet prog, there is no need to use it, but there's a nice readme who tells how to connect via usbnet !
I just got my yopy today, and i'll try these next days !
but i'm wondering if there was a way to run gentoo on it as it's quite limited for the moment !
