Hi all!
I'm currently installing Gentoo on a SunBlade 100, chugging along nicely from a stage1.
What I really wanted to ask you guys about, is if it would be interesting to get a port of Oracle RDBMS to Gentoo Linux on Sparc64?

If such a thing could be done, it would be really cool. Obviously access to the Oracle source would be required by you or whoever did the port, but if that's not a problem, then I'd love to see it in action (even though I'd have little use for it myself ) |

Source access is not a problem
I'm still trying to get this SunBlade 100 set up properly so I can start looking at the hardware layer code. Most of the problems with a port will much likely be in this area. When this is done, the rest is just a matter of compile time (at least i hope so)
