I have the latest ebuild of xmame and have been successful in getting it to work with a few roms. However, there is one game I downloaded that is all *.rom files. When I try to load it in xmame it looks for *.bin files. I haven't been able to find any info on how I might be able to get this to work and I was wondering if anyone else knows about this issue. Thanks in advance.

if the filenames are otherwise the same, try simply renaming them - i've had to do this several times in the past. if the files you have are actually wrong, then xmame will tell you about the checksum errors
