Just like news organizations fabricating consumer advocacy stories, it would've had much greater impact if the arrests were related to the events being described.

Aye, but the argument made is rather good.

How is that relevant? The police usually create a large "security perimeter" and arrest anyone with a camera before sending in the SWAT teams after a tax resister barricaded up in his home, so such footage is rare. All they have to do is arrest / waco a few, and the rest of the sheep will comply through fear.

It's just unnecessary to use stock footage for that. Showing the barbaric law codes used to enforce such transgressions against liberty would have been fine.

I think it makes the argument seem less than accurate, and IMO, it is a little bit exaggerated. It does more harm to the message than good. Much like birthers to the tea party (no matter how valid the interest in the document).

We are a nation of laws. Consequences for breaking the law are generally known. I don't see anyone leaving for greener pastures. I'm all for fixing what we have, but it isn't going away. It took us 200 years to get here, it will take a while to correct. Birthers and wasting too much energy on whatever the Its-NOT-Anarchy system would be isn't very helpful.

Credibility. When NBC rigged GM trucks to show that they could explode on impact, they had no credibility. There was some truth to the claim, but not nearly to the extent NBC portrayed.
