Am I missing something or is there not an ebuild for wu-ftpd?

wu-ftpd is possibly the worst choice for an ftp server. I have had redhat boxes 0wnz0rd twice because of wu. Go with pure-ftpd.

I agree, pure-ftpd is probably a better choice. Easy to set up as well and it's in portage.

ProFTPD is pretty sweet, too.

Wu-FTPD is not a good idea.
