Two in one day. This should keep Andrew on his toes. I got EVMS to patch and compile. I'm also trying the new RadeonFB driver. I've removed elv-select for now, seeing how no one actually knows what it does, let alone uses it. And the new CFQ patch is included.

South Dakota might have you beat out for scare factor, but with the backing of that rad LUG name you'd be unstopable.

Sadly on a more serious note I havn't been able to get a real stable test out of contest and the 2.6.3_rc love kernel patches

There won't be another one in that. I fear the SEWLSOGGLUG. The harm that they could bring me is unimaginable.

Another fine kernel. Is the new CFQ patch a real full update, or just the addition of the niceing?

The CFQ patch is a real update from the old one. Andrew hasn't picked it up yet for some reason.

next morning, same story:

mirrored here: http://buckoven.silent-server.de/lovepatch
this mirror is high bandwidth and of course has changed ebuilds to pull from himself.

please note that the mirror is maintained automatically, and you will find all future releases here too, also when i do not post "mirrored" here.

thanks for the great work, steel!

happy compiling!

how do I use this fix? I tried to apply it after patching with the love patch, but it failed both hunks.
Can I just do it manually, swapping the lines with - infront of them with the ones with + infront of them?

All you have to do is change the "->"s between the two "elevator"s to "."s on those lines. Swapping the lines works, too.

I've had problems getting ACX100 to work with -mm kernels after 2.6.2-mm1. I had to reverse the bk-netdev patch from -mm's broken-out directory. I'm on 2.6.2-gentoo because of it.

Thanks to the removal of elv-select, I can now connect my camera, and presumably my flash drive (haven't tested that yet), and disconnect it without error! :D

Thanks Steel300! Hopefully no one will miss it too much.

Thanks again for another great release... I'm seeing some real performance gains... haven't really noticed anything on previous love's. Could it be the updated cfq perhaps? :D

Sweet. The USB stuff is fixed, people are getting much faster hdparm times, and only one person asked for supermount. This is a good release, even if I did forget to fix pktcdvd.c.
