I am now installing gentoo with stage 1 without gnome but with java
I hava a 1000Mhz processor and 50Kb/s internet In de documentation I could not find the time it takes.
Gentoo is now compiling.
My computer is making a lot of noice and a have to go to bed. How long do I have to wait? :-<> |

| I have a 2mbit cable connect/nforce 2/XP 2400+ and it took about 1.5 days to have gentoo up and running with KDE from stage 1. Of course some of this was done overnight so I could have done it a little faster. |
