What is the best way to safely get rid of everything to do with kde that is currently installed on my system? On a debian system, I'd just remove the base package and let the dependancy system do the work, but in gentoo, dependancies aren't handled for removing packages right?
I want to get rid of most of gnome too, but leave enough to run applications like evolution and gnumeric.
I'm short on hard disk space and am quite happy using just flwm, so KDE and gnome are obvious candidates to go.
thanks,

I used 'emerge -s gnome' to find what I had installed and removed what I wanted. Perhaps someone has a better method. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
