Hi, I made a simple module, from the tutorial from http://www.faqs.org/docs/kernel/
I can get it to make the .o file, and its fine. But I keep getting:
Code: | insmod filename.o
insmod: error inserting 'filename.o': -1 Invalid module format |
I tried changing it to .ko, because thats the way things are now.
I read a few things, and apparantly modules are made differently slightly in 2.6. Can you help?? I can't find enough documentation on it.
Thanks,
Cormac. |
