hi
gentoo is great
i tried searchin the forum on this but no avail... so i registed to ask this question:
I have a old Ultra 5 which i want to make little faster & quiet by adding IDE(-RAID) controller, which can do UDMA133 (Silicon Image Chip) or Adaptec 2940UW scsi controller with a quiet harddrive. I seen the list on "pc hardware in sparc" by bazik, so at least 2940UW should work but not bootable
So people told me to boot compact flash, with IDE-cf adapter. does this work? how to partition for exemple 64mb cf-card with sun disklabel for /boot?
Thanks for answers and excuse my bad english
