When I do the env-update it says there is no /etc/make.profile is that a problem or should I do a emerge sync or will emerge rsync fix it too |

As far as I understand, /etc/make.profile is simply a symbolic link to /usr/portage/profiles/default-1.0. Just try running: Code: | ln -sf /usr/portage/profiles/default-1.0 /etc/make.profile |
Try running it again. How did you manage to not get a make.profile?
Also, emerge sync and emerge rsync are the same thing. _________________ - Kyle Manna
