Olá pessoal eu sempre tive curiosidade de saber exatamente quanto tempo leva desde de um emerge kde, ate a conclusao final da sua instalaçao, existe algo que faça essa mediçao de tempo?

quero comparar os tempos entre compilaçoes feitas em modo padrao e modo fetchonly, para ver as diferenças

eu tenho um script q peguei um dia nesse forum mesmo que faz algo parecido com o q vc quer, mas por pacotes (nao da pra pegar o tempo do kde, so do kdebase, kdenetwork, etc).

Aqui o output dele:

Porque não usar o comando time? é só escrever time emerge kde. No fim dá o tempo que foi usado.

ve como e maneiro usando no emerge -e world

você pode usar o time com o nice também:

É isso aí. Eu tenho no /etc/profile um

alias nicemerge="time nice -n 19 emerge"

Nunca uso o comando emerge, só uso o meu nicemerge. Não piora o desempenho da máquina e ainda dá o tempo no final. :wink:
