I use my laptop at school, home and at work, which makes 3 different access points. Two of them have WEP enabled.
I would like to be able to connect my PCMCIA wireless card to the laptop, and then let the computer select the correct key for the access point based on ESSID or MAC automatically. _________________ Queen Rocks. |

I don't know about switching automatically, but you can switch easily -- emerge 'quickswitch', and give it a try. |

I am not switching between them.
When I boot, it should pick the right key depending on which AP it can contact. _________________ Queen Rocks. |

Sorry, I guess I interpreted that as switching, just between reboots.
Maybe see this thread or this thread. I haven't looked into this for a while (I rarely reboot, and, I normally don't start networking at boot time on my laptop, so for me something like quickswitch is great), but the ideas/scripts in one of those threads might give you a good start. |
