I've been trying to get my wireless connection to work, but I haven't had any luck. I've gotten far enough that the system now beeps when I connect, or disconnect the card, but that's it. after searching around, trying to find what my card (usr2210) supported, I tried | Code: | | emerge linux-wlan-ng |
and I had no luck. I then proceded to go out, and manually download, decompress, and install everything, with almost no more luck. after doing that, the system at least recognized that I had a pcmcia card, but it wouldn't do anything with it. when I tried iwconfig, I got | Code: | iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions
eth0 no wireless extensions |

what chipset does the usr .... have?
If it is an acx100 chipset, maybe you should try
http://acx100.sf.net
they have good installation manuals and groups..... |
