The ebuilds for gentoo-sources-2.4.20 say that you can set KERNEL_EXCLUDE so you can disable certain patches.
In the gentoo-sources-2.4.22 series this function seems to be skipped and there is a straight call to kernel_universal_unpack in kernel.eclass.
Is there an easy way to disable certain patches in gentoo-sources-2.4.22-* ?

OK, this is obviously a non-answer, but isn't it an option to use another kernel (gaming, ck, vanilla with your own patch-set)? |

You're right, and that is what I'm doing currently.
It would just have been easier to be able to exclude one particular patch through a variable instead of grabbing the ~100 individual patches contained in 22-r4 and applying those. |
