If you try to edit your menus, Go >Start Here > Applications: nautilus behaves a little unpredictably. It mostly seems to make things worse . Sometimes deleting folders & launchers, sometimes changes show on the desktop but not in nautilus untill you quit & restart nautilus :x Trying to rename something doesn't. This occurs on both my machines, one recently updated, the other is a new install this weekend.

I'll have to submit this bug to Gnome, if someone hasn't already.

Anyone know how to edit the menus without nautilus?
