Hi, I am currently running SuSE on my Powerbook and I'm looking into gentoo.
Is ReiserFS already available on PPC and if yes are there any problems with it?
Do you recommend using it on PPC, what filesystem(s) do you recommend?

I tis available, yes. I honestly reccomend to use ext3 if you want a journalling filesystem on PPC. I have personally have both resierfs and XFS east filesystems irrecoverably on my PPC (not a gentoo specific problem)
On the upside, ext3 runs great, I havent had a single (out of the ordinary) problem with things as of yet. |
