XGalaga not working with Spacebar for User.

I would swear that in an earlier build this worked, but not now.

Problem: XGalaga. If use it as User the keyboard spacebar doesn't work.
It is suppose to be the fire key. Even changing the binary owner and group doesn't seem to work. Other keys work for movement.

If Login as Root (not su, but from Login), the game works flawlessly.

Anyone got any clues? Doesn't seem to be a config file and starting with
xgalaga -keyboard doesn't make it work for user either. Mouse works fine
for user, but find it tooooo slow in response time.
