Hello
I want to update gcc to latest unstable version but without support of java, objectivec, fortran, ada. I want only c and c++. In the USE flags I found only -java flags to disable java support. Could someone tell me please how to disable support of other languages ? |

I have another question
I have gcc installed, but i want to optimize it.
1) Would an emerge gcc do a bootstrap ?
2) If no, how to to bootstrap gcc
3) do i need to uninstall it before bootstraping ? |

Did someone tried the following optimizations for gcc ?
CFLAGS="-mcpu=i686 -march=pentium3 -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer
-fforce-addr -falign-functions=4 -fprefetch-loop-arrays"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}" |
