Normal weekly updating and dev-tex/biblatex has been stuck on | Code: | luaotfload | db : Font names database not found, generating new one.
luaotfload | db : This can take several minutes; please be patient. |
going on 20 minutes now on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X. Is this normal to take so long? I've never seen it before. |

I found a suggestion searching the web to run
| Code: | | luaotfload-tool -v -vvv -u |
and it's getting stuck on
| Code: | | luaotfload | db : Loading font /usr/share/fonts/iosevka/IosevkaCurly.ttc |
I use iosevka, so I'd hate to have to remove it. Is there a way to work around this? What I found suggested adding to a luaotfload-blacklist.cnf file, but I can't find one and don't know where it would go. |
