Hi All,
On my Laptop when I connect an usb device system generated log messages below and the port doesn't work if I change port everything work fine.
Code: | May 3 19:13:07 himalaya kernel: hid-generic 0003:046D:C542.0008: input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.11 Mouse [Logitech Wireless Receiver] on usb-0000:04:00.3-4/input0

If I well understand system expected to find an MTP device, I don't know why that appears, I don't remind to do an action which could created this malfunction.
Thank you so much in advance for your help.
Kind regards,
Willy

Hi All,
I manage to solve my problem, in my system I activated fanotify module in kernel for clamonacc scan as describe in https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/ClamAV.
I removed it and everything work fine, that is strange is the problem appeared only on one usb port under 3.
Kind regards,
Willy |

Hi All,
I was wrong, the activation of "fanotify" module was not the cause of problem with tus usb port, the problem has returned.
On my E14 Lenovo I restored the original Widows to be able upgrade firmware an bios of machine then I restored my Gentoo system and now everything work fine.
I don't know why this problem appeared and only on an USB port.
Kind regards,
Willy |
