Hi,

on Xfce I can disable the suspend-to-ram when closing the lid. But without login or without X, the laptop tries to go to standby and crashes as expected (don't know why, using the universal gentoo-kernel-bin)..
How can I prevent this, when using OpenRC?
I found in sys-power/acpid, something around these files:
Code:
/etc/acpi/actions/lm_lid.sh
/etc/acpi/events/lm_lid
/lib/udev/lmt-udev
But I don't see any configuration file. How can I disable the suspend on lid close?

I guess removing /etc/acpi/events/lm_lid is sufficient to avoid calling any handler on event=button[ /]lid.
