app-emacs/marginalia-20231215::melpa installed here: | Code: | ls -l /var/db/repos/melpa/app-emacs/marginalia/
total 12

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 458 déc. 16 04:49 marginalia-20231215.1316.ebuild

whereas melpa is much newer.
Daily portage tree & repos sync here.
To the opposite later app-emacs/lsp-mode-20231223::melpa is properly installed here.
Thus melpa repository seems only partially updated.

doesn't report any issue.
Any idea what is happening, eventually how to fix?

Portage, and therefore emerge, does not know how to sync a g-sorcery repository and never has.
It used to be done by layman, but layman was removed. |

layman removed from tree....
go to Additional elisp packages section states app-portage/gs-elpa with app-portage/g-sorcery as deoendency.
EDIT: OP updated from emerge to emaint.
Do you have any proposal how to update elpa, melpa-stable & melpa?

| In this case, take it up with the repository owner at https://github.com/houseofsuns/melpa-stable. They have a bot that does things and may not be updating as much as you like. |

Indeed https://github.com/gentoo-mirror/melpa.git likely syncs against https://github.com/houseofsuns/melpa which seems out of sync with melpa.
