I have a server where i need to rebuild php 7.4. It's now out of portage...
how do i do it?
can i get the ebuild somewhere and use it? i don't want to install php from sources by hand... _________________ Willy Gardiol

Typically, you would retrieve the ebuild from the Portage git history and place it in an overlay. You may also need to retrieve supporting files from the files directory, supporting eclasses from the eclass directory, or the upstream distfiles if those are no longer cached and not on the mirrors.
Why are you trying to rebuild such an old php? There may be a better option to solve your underlying problem. |

i solved by fixing the old software and moving to php 8. I tought would be more difficult! _________________ Willy Gardiol
