And bug 917224. Note that the PR you linked won't fix it, per the discussion in the bug.
It's also worth noting that we can't mask this ZFS version because people have clearly already upgraded their pools. |

Duly noted.
I think it not inconcievable that the intention of the author may at the ouset have been users elevated awareness regarding said problem/bug, possible ramifications toward the aforementioned, carefel consideration of thoughts as expressed through the magicks of display, link, font and whatnot.

I'm not really sure how to respond to the first part of what you said, I was just giving some context / additional information. Especially given the Gentoo bug is probably the best reference for this sort of thing as it contains explanations & lots of other links.
Anyway, fixed releases are in tree now. |
