OpenSSH Host Based Authentication

I am having problems with OpenSSH HostbasedAuthentication. I don't know where to turn. I have meticulously followed all the guides and coverd all the bases they mention but still no luck.

I am wondering if anyone here can suggest the best place (or places) to ask for help? I have a significant amount of information (files, debug output etc.) to provide. I.e., Is there a support forum for OpenSSH specifically?

Never used it, but this looks like a good start and has even some troubleshooting tips: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/OpenSSH/Cookbook/Host-based_Authentication

try that and report any errors you get.

Please describe also what you tried and what the results were and what you expected. And finally show also the configurations.
