app-editors/emacs: pure gtk splash warning removal on X11?

Any idea how to remove this pesky warning where running emacs[gtk] in X env?

Current workaround:
Both emacs:29 & emacs:30 build here with one [gtk].
Defaulted to emacs:[!gtk]
Non xwayland environments redefine EDITOR variable

Problem remains 4 gentoo maintenance in terminal "su -" as it doesn't keep EDITOR variable value:

su -w="EDITOR"

habit switch here as customized command shortcuts are $EDITOR variable based.
