|
|
I'm trying to decide which kernel ebuild to use. Essentially, what is the difference between gentoo-sources, mjc-sources, xfs-sources, crypto-sources, linux-sources, redhat-sources, etc. Which ones offer XFS support and which ones have what patches in them?
I tried searching the forums but I'm getting nothing useful (or I'm getting contradicting information, mostly regarding XFS in gentoo-sources).
TIA |

For gentoo-sources and crypto-sources you can find information from the .ebuild files but for others.... Maybe you could find something from their homepages.
www.redhat....
www.sgi....
and so on
Personally I have xfs-kernel now becauce I got contradicting information too.. and because I didn't know what would be the "right" settings for my machine with gentoo-sources. |
