Ciao!
Domanda, sbadatamente prima di leggere la news sulle app-alternatives ho fatto il sync e aggiornato @world, ora dando i comandi suggeriti dalla guida

2. # emerge --depclean app-eselect/eselect-awk app-eselect/eselect-sh
3. # emerge --sync
4. # emerge -a -uvDU @world (or other similar standard world upgrade command)

mi ritrovo che il punto 1.e 2. non ritornano niente e aggiornando, i pacchetti compresi in app-alternatives mi hanno dato questo messaggo (tutti, ne posto solo uno d'esempio)

È normale ti ha sostituito quei comandi con i relativi link simbolici aggiunti da i nuovi pacchetti app-alternatives/*.
Infatti se leggi le linee finali:

* necessary, refer to your elog messages for the whole content of the
* above message. |
Quindi il pacchetto è stato installato con successo.
