Dear folks,

I have been using this USB wifi adapter for a while now. Despite using a Realtek chipset, it has been working wonders. My system is based on a clang/llvm/musl setup, and I'm striving to avoid GCC as much as possible.

However, after I updated Clang and LLVM from version 14 to 15 (I'm avoiding multislotted builds) and the Linux kernel from 5.19.6 to 5.19.11 or something, it is not detecting SSID networks anymore. As such, I'm stuck on an older kernel, built with Clang/LLVM 14.

I have tried both https://github.com/morrownr/8821au-20210708 and https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au. Both are building and loading fine, automatically even. However whenever I run iwctl to try to scan and connect to a wifi network, it fails. I also tried connman with wpa_supplicant, but for no avail.

I have enabled debug mode and raised debug verbosity, getting the following output on dmesg: https://dpaste.com/8ENXY7M6A

Here is the complete build log for the aircrack-ng driver: https://matrix.org/_matrix/media/r0/download/matrix.org/rzTOtZlDCKQNPWHQcxMTiHqu/unpatched.log

Thank you very much for your attention. :)

Yes. I actually opened it.

Adding LLVM=1 and LLVM_IS=1 makes no difference whatsoever.
