Hi all!
I updated yesterday... and I find that meld (diff tool, based on python and gtk) has a new, completely alien appeareance. Very ugly window decorations and all widgets look like some web application for a tablet. Instead of showing 10 tabs and having a menu, it waste space for only 2 tabs and a hamburgher menu.... oh darn. Perhaps half of this is prgress, but the window decrations irk me.
I had a similar issue in debian/devuan and there I was pointed out that two versions of the GTK packages exist, one is the "nocsd" version, that is, no client side rendering.
Does the equivalent exist in in Gentoo? It could be a good use flag, but I didn't find it.

Yes, could be that. Is this going to make it in mainstream or remains on as not accepted. _________________ Unix is user friendly. It is only careful selecting its friends. |
