mediatek MT7921E

hey all,

I have added the necessary kernel modules for the mt7921e card on my thinkpad laptop.

bluetooth is working

network detection is working i can see the list of available netowrks to connect to,

however if i click one of them nothing happens - it doesnt take me to put the password in.

im using NetworkManager

hw-probe shows that wifi is only detected

if i use the gentoo live gui and boot from thta usb I do have access to wifi so i know the card does work.



if anyone knows anything that might help it would be appreciated.

also linux-firmware has been installed

also i just tried to connect a bluetooth device but it wont allow me to actually connect the device so bluetooth isnt working properly either
