I believe I'm having a problem updating the latest installation files/packages.
I've spoken to several people who say the latest version of irssi, for example, that they have on their system is the latest version available, 0.8.9, but mine is stuck on 0.8.6-r6. I.E.

Latest version available: 0.8.6-r6
Latest version installed: 0.8.6-r6 |
I've tried "emerge sync", "eupdatedb", and a few other commands I forgot about. Any ideas on how to make sure my packages are up to date, because they don't seem to be. |

| Maybe I'm wrong about this, but I belive irssi 0.8.9 is marked as unstable. You'll need ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" too find it in emerge. |
