I'm trying to use wayland with my kde plasma installation. Everything seems to work fine, except the Kickstart menu opens in the middle of the Taskbar, as do any notifications.
Is there a setting I need to change or some compatibility package I'm missing?

this seems to be a bug:

from the bug report:

you can also try by adding a new user, if the problem also persist.
