Will all of my Loki games break due to the binary incompatability of GCC 3.2 than Gentoo 1.4 is to be compiled with? |

I don't have any Loki games, but it seems possible that they're statically linked to libstdc++ in order to run on a much wider variety of systems.
Can't say for sure, though. Try google? |

Hmm, Mabey the 2D games are static put the 3D games would have to be dynamic for the Nvidia drivers to work. |

I'm sort of using 1.4. A few days before it came out, I took a 1.3b stage1 tarball and installed that after modifying it to use GCC-3.2_pre instead of 3.1.1. Quake3 is the only Loki game I've got, and that works great. RTCW runs good too. Even the commercial WineX runs JK2 like a champ. Unfortunately civ3 is just dog ass slow through wineX. I'm also using the Nvidia 2960 drivers, and they seem to work well too. |

Excellent. I was concerned that none of my games would work after updating. |
