As a workaround, local repo restored app-arch/file-roller-3.40.0 in local repo brings things order back again here.

Same issue for nautilus, fixed here by restoring gnome-base/nautilus-41.2, as neither former 42.0 nor current 42.2 and could'nt fix.

Sorry I didn"t mentioned I only launched gnome apps out of gnome.
Indeed gtk dark theming didn't apply.

Launched gnome yesterday, configured in minimal mode here.
Theming issue also occured: My eyes were hurt, as dark theme is everywhere here, almost.
Theming property was set to light theme, which I switched to dark: What a relief!

Today I restored local app-text/evince-42.2 binary package & lauched in non gnome environment.
Seems like it catched up previous gnome theme switch ;)

Currently checking whether it identically applies to other packages mentionned above.

Thks 4 ur attention, interest & support.
