|
|
Installed NTP on a laptop that rarely leaves the house.
I have it currently as such:
Code: |
server [My router's internal IP]
server 0.gentoo.pool.ntp.org | , plus the other Gentoo servers and a localhost/fudge entry at stratum 10.
I wish to have the ntp client defer to my router when it is available and only reach out to *.ntp.org if the computer is out of the house. Will it do it as such or would adding "stratum 2" or some lower number behind the gentoo.pool.ntp.org servers be required to make it do this? |
