Hi!
I have just updated keepassxc to version 2.7.1-r1. Apparently earlier versions had a bug such that if the database was not unlocked, and an application would try to access keepassxc as a secret service (via dbus that is I think), then keepassxc would return an invalid passphrase. When using nheko-0.9.3 (matrix chat client) that always resulted in the issue of unwillingly getting logged out of my sessions. With version 2.7.1 of keepassxc, this issue should have been fixed.
After the update, however, no matter whether the database is locked or unlocked, keepassxc segfaults (no further error messages), when trying to use it as a secret service (at least with nheko). Did anybody else experience anything similar or have any suggestions?

Found the corresponding issue on GitHub: https://github.com/keepassxreboot/keepassxc/pull/7850
It seems to be triggered by matching entries in keepassxc's Recycle Bin. Emptying the Recycle Bin works as a work-around for now. |
