Mesa libs failed at configure

Greetings folks.

gentoo newbie here. Trying to emerge gnome, and getting failed configure on Mesa Libs.

Any clues would be much appreciated.

Found it. It was a missing dependency on wayland-protocols

If the ebuild as written in ::gentoo does not enforce installing a required package, then the ebuild is wrong and needs to be changed. Please consider filing a bug describing which ebuild(s) should depend on wayland-protocols, and under what circumstances, so that this can be fixed for the next person.
