im trying to install gentoo in my other computer.... and i cant even get past the first step... TRYING TO CONNECT TO A NETWORK
so i have a wifi with wpa2 and i tried like everything to connect to it.... wpa_supplicant, net-setup and all other stuff
but when i try to ping gentoo.org or google.com it says: Code: | ping: gentoo.org: Temporary failure in name resolution |
i legit tried every way i can to do this....
i really need help for this...

after 5+ hours of suffering... i finally found out... in the gentoo live chat
it turned out that TKIP + AES protocol was enabled in my router
they say that the TKIP protocol is not supported for 10+ years
soo..
i set it to only AES and IT WORKED!!!!!
